Women Empowerment Initiative

Project Description
Our organisation works to empower young women in Africa. We believe that the women empowerment project is essential to Africa’s sustainable development. We seek to liberate women from their limited space under a patriarchal society and widen their horizons, dreams. We believe that many women are great leaders as their nature of understanding, loving and uniting spirit reflects in families and communities. Our Women Empowerment Initiative empowers African women. At grass-roots level, these projects helps our women enjoy decent means of livelihood, become employers whilst also contributing to the economic development of their societies. Young women in rural Kenya are trained green houses and irrigation schemes, beading and weaving. In Zimbabwe, women venture into medium scale poultry and piggery farming. DRC women are empowered through hairdressing and tailoring trainings. Nigerian women have continued to grow in shoe and handbag making whilst Zambians are empowered through basic agriculture.
