YALF Donates YALJOD to Midland State University, Zimbabweadmin
On Wednesday, November 2, 2016, Zimbabwe’s Midland State University became the first tertiary Institution in the continent to receive the first youth-led pan-African journal of development, Young African Leaders Journal of Development (YALJOD).
YALF Team, led by the National Coordinator I for Zimbabwe, Sensewell Chingwaramusee, donated copies of the prestigious youth-led journal to the library department of the university. It is necessary for youths to become involved in policy making and implementation processes, and our vision is to provide all necessary development information to every single young person in the continent. The school is the place of learning for most young people; hence YALF will strategically be donating YALJOD to various public libraries all over the continent.
YALJOD is a biennial publication of the Young African Leaders Forum established to host scholarly analysis and competing viewpoints about the development of Africa. Initially published in October and launched at the African Union Headquarters, this journal centres on the concerns of many young people in the globe.
