YALF, MINISTRY OF HEALTH to campaign against tuberculosis

The Young African Leaders Forum (YALF) and the Federal Ministry of Health, Ethiopia will carryout a city-wide campaign against TUBERCULOSIS in Addis Ababa on the 20th of October, 2016.

Following the health target of the SDGs and the death of our hero, Evance Mtsukwa (who died combating TB), YALF has taken to the pedestal to create awareness against the deadly disease, and promote the health-care of both latent and active TB patients.

The city-wide walk against TUBERCULOSIS will include screenings, awareness and other possible solutions to reduce the grasp of the deadly disease in Africa. After kick-starting in Ethiopia, YALF and its youth leaders will also continue the campaign against TUBERCULOSIS in other African cities.

This campaign will take place during the 2016 YALF Annual Summit and the launching of YALJOD – which will hold from 19 – 21 of October, 2016.

What a great initiative. Tuberculosis is a fatal but curable disease. Raising awareness about it will definitely help a lot of people.
